What’s the worst that could happen?
Mona is a smart girl and had everything figured out a long time ago. She had to. She didn’t have a choice. When your parents are uber-celebrities and you graduate from high school at thirteen, finish college at seventeen, and start your PhD program at eighteen, you don’t have time for distractions outside of your foci. Even fun is scheduled.
Which is why Abram, her brother’s best friend, is such an irritant.
Abram is a talented guy, a supremely gifted musician, and has absolutely nothing figured out, nor does he seem to care. He does what he feels, when he feels, and—in Mona’s opinion—he makes her feel entirely too much.
Laws of Physics is the second trilogy in the Hypothesis series; Laws of Physics parts 1 (MOTION) & 2 (SPACE) end with a cliffhanger.
Motion, the first in the all-new Laws of Physics Trilogy from Wall Street Journal and New York Times bestselling author Penny Reid, is available now!
Another great book by Penny Reid.
Mona is the twin of Lisa (yes – you read that correctly) (get the book to get the full story!). Mona is a prodigy; having graduated high school and college early. Lisa is nothing like Mona – she routinely gets herself in a fix and finds herself in one now and needs Mona to pretend to be her.
Abram, who is a friend of the twins brother, agrees to “babysit” ‘Lisa.’ Abram is not a fan of Lisa’s. Which makes the exchange even more difficult for Mona, since Mona plays by the rules.
I never like giving away too much of the plot of a book I really enjoy reading simply because I want one to enjoy the story as it unfolds as they read it themselves.
First, Penny Reid’s romance novels are not like any other you will read. The characters are quirky and very relatable to those of us living in the real world. While Mona has famous parents (something most readers probably cannot relate to), she is very much a woman with relatable experiences and thoughts. She is smart and funny, and I enjoyed reading her perspective.
And Abram? Wowee wow wow! The chemistry between these two is really off the charts hot.
In a nutshell, this is a great romance, with fun and interesting characters – and a hell of a cliffhanger. But hey – we won’t have to wait years for the next book, just ONE MONTH.
If you are a Penny Reid fan, you will love this. If you haven’t read her books before – you will love this one and you should get on reading her other great books.
